Many AT&T iPhone 4 users are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the impending iOS 4.3 release. These mobile enthusiasts however may just have some unsettling news driving their way. According to a document acquired by Engadget, the AT&T Mobile Hotspot for iPhone would only work with up to three Wi-Fi enabled devices.

Phone aficionados have always expected mobile hotspot and Mi-Fi devices to support five Wi-Fi gadgets. This range of gizmos also apparently includes the iPhone 4 from Verizon. It however seems that this is not the case with the AT&T Apple handset. The leaked page reveals that just a trio of Wi-Fi devices is supported via the Personal Hotspot connection. iPhone 4 users wishing to connect to two more devices would have to do so through either USB or Bluetooth.

We guess only time would tell just how many devices the AT&T iPhone 4 mobile hotspot would be able to support. The iOS 4.3 software update is expected to release on March 11, 2011.
