MobileMe iDisk iPhone Apple recently released the MobileMe iDisk application for the iPhone. The app was publicized during Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference in July, reports Cnet.

Reportedly, the iDisk app facilitates MobileMe service users to access files they or their MobileMe contacts have stored on Apple’s servers. Users can view and send any native file types. By means of the app, users can stream music that is stored on the iDisk. Even movies can be streamed, but they need to be formatted in order to play on the iPhone.

The app allows users to view their files in both portrait and landscape modes. Reportedly, files over 20MB cannot be loaded. Documents and photos that require downloading are capped at 30MB even if the Wi-Fi connection is active. Except for the photos, users cannot download anything back to their device from the app.

MobileMe iDisk comes with 2.2MB and users need an active subscription to MobileMe. It also requires an iPhone or iPod Touch operating on OS 3.0. The app is available for free.
