Second in a series of Digi-Key mobile applications, the Digi-Key Android app puts forth easy access to Digi-Key’s extensive product offering and resources. Handset owners can create Digi-Key orders and view them in local, Digi-Key supported currencies.

Moreover, owners can conveniently view part datasheets on their Android phone. Updates to the exciting app will include the ability to download, e-mail and save high-resolution datasheets for future reference. The app offers access to Digi-Key’s in-stock inventory of more than 500,000 board level components. Besides, users can also access Digi-Key’s online offering of more than 1.7 million products.

The app enables users to search for parts, create Digi-Key orders, access My Digi-Key accounts and get product specifications. Apart from all this, users can view product images and learn about new products and new technologies at Digi-Key. Flaunting its ability to view orders created from web, phone, fax, and mobile devices, the Android app version 1.0.2 lends support to all Digi-Key sanctioned international currencies.
The app is available in English and Android 1.6 and higher can now download it for free from the Android Market.
