These days it looks as if mobile speculators are behind the much awaited Android 2.2 Froyo. Previously, a number of devices like the Motorola Sage, Droid X and the HTC EVO 4G are anticipated to render support to Froyo. LG too has intentions of joining those ranks by upgrading one of its handsets. PhoneDog affirms that LG has contacted them and revealed plans of the LG Ally welcoming Android 2.2 Froyo.

Earlier we had reported on the LG Ally featuring a side sliding QWERTY keypad and a 3.2MP camera. It sports a stylish silver-and-black outer chassis, plus Otterbox has also come up with sheaths to protect the device. Enabled with Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi, the device is loaded with five customizable homescreens. The handset was out on the street through Verizon Wireless on May 20, 2010 retailing for $99.99.

It will be quite interesting to see the Android 2.2 Froyo embedded into the LG Ally as it would simply enhance the complete experience that the device earlier proffered. Android fans should surely look out for this one.
