Mobile phones have already made our life so easy and with new applications getting introduced are making it more easier. Alltel Wireless America’s largest wireless network is brimming out with a new application called the Alltel Mobile E-mail application for Alltel Wireless customers.
Checking e-mail is an integral part to keep you connected with friends and family. The Alltel Mobile E-mail application simplifies your access to e-mail services. The customers can access their personal or work based e-mails from their smartphones powered by Windows Mobile. The application will directly connect you to popular e-mail web portals like AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and more. You only need to enter your username and password to establish the connection.
“Customers rely on e-mail as a way to stay in touch with friends, family and business associates,” states David Maddox, vice president of product marketing at Alltel Wireless. “Our customers want their devices to do so much more than just make calls. With Alltel Mobile E-mail, customers can send and reply to e-mail and manage their address book in a simple and seamless way.”
The Alltel Mobile E-mail application is also compatible with Microsoft outlook Web Access allowing the customers to synchronize their work calendars and contacts without the IT support. This application will be a boon for small business developers, as it is powered by SEVEN (R) that uses a Workgroup Connector which is a software solution that allows one computer to centrally manage mobile e-mail access for upto 25 employees.
The Alltel Mobile E-mail application can be downloaded for free but its use will require a subscription or a monthly fee of US $3.99.
