The Airtel iPhone 5 India launch has been announced and the phone with a starting price of Rs. 45,500, has hit availability status. The latest generation Apple smartphone was already up for pre-order through this service provider and even via a few online retailers in the country.

The carrier in question stocks up on the handset’s 16GB, 32GB as well as 64GB variants. But it is available only in the black and slate shade. Customers who have already reserved it are likely to receive the device in the next 5 to 7 days. Compatible with Airtel’s HSPA+ and DC-HSPA networks, it can be purchased along with multiple data plans.
