The all new Huawei Ascend P1 TD-SCDMA and 2600mAh XL were showcased at the Mobile Asia Expo 2012. Also, just recently, the Ascend P1 smartphone was announced for Taiwan, Australia and Hong Kong.

Both the aforesaid phones have been freshly included in the Ascend P1 lineup to suit individual preferences. The TD-SCDMA variant should adhere to people looking for this network in particular, while the 2600mAh version is touted to increase the battery life considerably. Apart from these handsets, the company is presenting the Ascend D quad, Ascend D1, MediaPad 10 FHD, and Ascend P1 mobile devices, along with the E5331 and E5151 Wi-Fi modems.

For refresher’s sake, the Ascend P1 relishes ICS and operates on a 1.5GHz dual core TI OMAP 4460 Cortex A9 processor. The front panel is draped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen proffering visuals in resolutions of 960 x 540p. Its display is reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass for added protection. There’s an 8MP snapper on the back panel for photography enthusiasts.

The exact Huawei Ascend P1 TD-SCDMA and 2600mAh XL price and release date details are not clear.
