The spew of leaked images and specifications of upcoming devices just keeps going on and the latest one to have joined this growing list is the 7-inch Asus Eee Memo Pad. According to Engadget who picked it up on Notebook Italia, it is most likely to run on a 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon processor and come integrated with 16GB to 64GB of internal storage space.

This upcoming tablet is believed to be equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen providing a resolution of 1280 x 800p and could be capable of lending support to various connectivity options such as 3G and Wi-Fi. Although the slate is speculated to operate on the Android platform, it is not clear whether it will be powered by the Honeycomb OS or the new generation Ice Cream Sandwich.

The mobile device reminded Notebook Italia another previously announced one, the Asus Padfone, which is most likely to arrive next month. The Padfone is rumored to possess enough functionality for serving as a 4.3-inch Android smartphone as well as a 10-inch tablet.

Waxing eloquent on Asus surprises, rumors are flying fast regarding the arrival of a smaller version of the 10.1-inch Eee Pad Transformer Prime which is most likely to come incorporated with the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. It could very well be debuting at the CES 2012 along with this 7-inch tablet.
