In order to expand its mobile platform support, the McAfee WaveSecure software app for the iPhone was recently launched by the company. Through its Enterprise mobility manager software, McAfee provided support for business users. Now with this new app they aim to support individual iPhone users by focusing on their main security concern which is protection against data and loss or theft of the device.
Users of iPhone can safeguard their privacy and stored data even in the event of the misplacement of their smartphone via this application. It enables them to back up and restore the information by preventing its misuse. The app offers remote location tracking along with a web console to aid users in finding their missing device.

This app allows users to wirelessly back up contacts, pictures and videos. They can also restore or delete contacts. Their missing Apple smartphones can be tracked found through the McAfee WaveSecure online portal. This application is now available in English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Spanish and Russian languages.
The McAfee WaveSecure software for the iPhone can be downloaded from the App Store for a price of $19.99.
