Apple makes another smart move. Well, this time it’s a truly breathtaking one. The new 3G iPhone offers faster networking, iPhone 2.0 software, GPS capabilities and much more. While some users end up paying $199 for the 8 GB and $299 for the 16 GB versions or equivalent in most of the countries, it has some other plans for Germany.
The users from Germany can buy an 8 GB iPhone for 1 euro if they sign a contract with T-Mobile for a €69/month wireless plan while they need to shell out €89 for a 16 GB one. Depending on the plan chosen, the 8 GB version will cost you between 1 and 169.95 euros. For the 16 GB one you will have to select a plan that begins at 19.95 and goes up to 249.95 euros for a minimum €29/month contract.
Well this definitely favors T-Mobile. Guess Apple iPhone 3G is adamant on being in news for quite some time. This is just the beginning. Here’s hoping that it has some new plan to offer for every country. Management strategy at its best!
