Attractive user interfaces have always been appreciated by enthusiastic mobile users. Keeping this in mind, Pantech has recently unveiled a 3D mobile UI named as TruEmotion.
3D Cube UI concepts are already implemented by LG with its S-Class phones and even Samsung has a Cubic collection. The TruEmotion UI is apparently simple, intuitive and dynamic. Moreover it features three-dimensional transition effects, reports IntoMobile.
3D interfaces seem to be eye candy, however they ultimately appear as a 2D interface mapped onto a cube. Additionally, the interface is does not add up to the productivity of the device and might even consume more power.
TruEmotion will be introduced first in South Korea by next month, simultaneously with the launch of the latest Pantech IM-R470S handset. It is a full-touch handset with a 3.2 VGA display.
Though the UI will mark its presence in Korea first, it is still unrevealed whether it will be utilized for non-Korean phones.
