Toshiba outs Satellite P50 world’s first Ultra HD laptop for Rs 86000

Out in India right now is the Toshiba Satellite P50 which happens to be the world’s first 4K Ultra HD display laptop, and it comes equipped with premium components and a range of entertainment-focused features. Priced pretty competitively at Rs 86000, this device is powered by fourth generation Intel Core processors.

The Toshiba Satellite P50’s 15.6-inch TruBrite touchscreen display forms its main highlights thanks to its 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. The Toshiba laptop has been outfitted with Harman Kardon stereo speakers which can also work when it’s in sleep mode. At 27.9mm, this laptop is thin enough to please on its sides.

This new piece of hardware packs inside it a fourth generation Intel Core i7 4700HQ processor clocked at 3.4GHz. Up to 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L RAM has can be chosen for it, while an AMD Radeon R9 M265X dedicated GPU also forms part of its offerings. The Satellite P50 comes with a 1TB 3D sensor HDD onboard. Fresh entries to the Satellite S and Satellite L ranges have also hit the block, apart from a couple of hybrid laptops which come in the form of the Portege Z10t-A and the Satellite L30W. Three other laptops named Tecra W50, Tecra Z40-A and Portege Z30-A laptops are included in the launch as well.
