Motorola Moto G out of stock on Flipkart within an hour of going up for sale

The Motorola Moto G that went official in India today exclusively through Flipkart, has already been sold out. And all it took for the retailer to sell all of its units is merely 15 minutes. Both the 8GB and 16GB variants are currently out of stock and nothing has been revealed about the date on which the portal will get the new units.

Apart from Flipkart, Snapdeal had also put the smartphone up for pre-order and it revealed that it received more than 1000 orders within a day itself. But as Motorola has announced that the former retailer will be offering the Moto G exclusively in India, the latter is not likely to start shipping it any time soon. Snapdeal should dispatch the phone in the third week of February.

Flipkart has also announced a lot of deals such as discounts on eBooks, clothing and smartphone covers for those who purchase it on the launch day itself. Potential buyers who got the chance to order it today, can make the most of these offers. And those who couldn’t, can enter their contact details in the dedicated slot on the product page and the shopping site will let you know as soon as it receivers the phone’s stocks.

The Motorola Moto G costs Rs 12,999 (8GB) and Rs 13,999 (16GB) in India.
