The LG Optimus Vu is the freshest mobile device to be unveiled ahead of the upcoming MWC 2012, where it is scheduled to be displayed. This is a more of a smartphone-cum-tablet, much like the Samsung Galaxy Note, and it operates on a 1.5GHz dual core processor.

Running on the 4G LTE network and paired with a Rubberdium pen, the forthcoming Optimus sports a slim form factor measuring 8.5mm in thickness. It comes equipped with a 5-inch 1024 x 768p IPS display featuring a neat 4:3 aspect ratio and is powered by a 2,080mAh battery.

Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company, explained, “The Optimus Vu was designed to maximize what customers could do with a smartphone. By offering an optimal 4:3 ratio viewing experience, 5-inch display combined with superfast LTE technology, Optimus Vu: is just one example of what we can achieve when we combine our best technology with customer needs.”
