Samsung launches U900 Soul Olympic Special Edition Phones

Samsung U900 Soul Olympic Special Edition Phone Samsung, the official telecom partner of the Olympic Games has released its limited edition U900 phone just days before the opening ceremony. The U900 has three model names: SPH-W5900IL, SPH-W5950IL and CH-W590IL and all phones will have the Olympics 2008 logo embossed on the back. The phone will also come with special preloaded Olympic content, including wallpapers and screensavers. Apart from this, the Olympic edition U900 phone is pretty similar to the standard U900 launched by Samsung this April.

This stylish, slider phone has become one of Samsung’s most popular handsets since its release. It is equipped with a flashy 5.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, GSM and HSDPA connectivity. The phone comes with an internal memory of 128 MB and a slot for microSD or microSDHC card.

Merely 20,080 number of Samsung Soul Olympic Edition handsets have been released and are only available in the Korean market. This exclusive phone celebrating the 2008 Beijing Olympics is priced at 699,600 won (approximately 690 USD).
