WWE WrestleFest game for iPhone and iPad released

WWE WrestleFest Game

The WWE WrestleFest game has arrived on the iPhone and iPad for fans of the popular fighting sport. Released by THQ, the app has been developed on the basis of the classic WWE arcade title which was quite a rage in the 1990s.

This wrestling game features a host of WWE Superstars and Legends like The Rock, Randy Orton, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Undertaker, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage and John Cena. Players would be able to pit these popular stars against each other in a variety of different matches including Tag Team, Gauntlet, Steel Cage and Royal Rumble whilst showing off their muscle power in renowned arenas like SmackDown, WrestleMania, Saturday Night’s Main Event and Raw.

“WWE WrestleFest greatly complements our WWE videogames portfolio by delivering a unique and captivating way for fans to connect with the virtual WWE experience. The game’s arcade-style play, combined with present day WWE content and hints of nostalgia, is a perfect fit for handheld platforms like the iPhone and iPad,” cited Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Games, THQ.
