Epson recently launched its upgraded iPrint app for Android mobile phones. This application lets users print pictures and web pages from select Epson Inkjet printers in a more convenient manner now.

Through this app users are allowed to scan, save and share their files as well as check the printer’s status and ink levels. The application provides support for online cloud services such as Box.net, Dropbox and Evernote by which users can access and print online files.

“Epson is committed to superior mobile device printing solutions for performance printing on-the-go. The new Epson iPrint app offers fun and useful capabilities including the ability to print photos, and web pages any time to any nearby wireless Epson printer, giving Android device owners the freedom to print virtually anything they want to,” stated Samba Moorthy, Division Head – Sales & Marketing, Epson India Pvt Ltd.

Android users are enabled to print multiple pictures as well as switch between color and monochrome printing. The app also aids in maintenance as it undertakes tasks like nozzle checking and print head cleaning. Choosing varied scanning resolutions and image types and printing with or without borders are some of the other functions that this app is capable of performing.

Incorporating a built-in web browser, users of this app can configure print options such as the paper size, type, number of copies and page range. Select Epson printers that this app is compatible with are the Stylus Office TX510FN and TX600FW, Stylus Photo R3000, TX700W and TX720W, K200, ME Office 900WD and 960FWD and the Stylus TX550W.
