One of the most talked about features is Face Unlock which uses facial recognition to unlock the smartphone, eliminating the need of remembering cumbersome passwords. Another unique functionality is the Android Beam that employs NFC technology for facilitating instant sharing of web pages, apps and YouTube videos through the mere tapping of two smartphones against each other.

While the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note will roll out in the first quarter of 2012, other Galaxy devices would be receiving the update soon thereafter.
