Samsung Galaxy S3, S2, Note 2 and Note Jelly Bean updates in the offing

Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean

The web is abuzz with rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S3, S2, Note 2 and Note Jelly Bean updates. Though there is no official confirmation from the South Korean quarters, it had already hinted at an upcoming upgrade earlier.

In terms of the Galaxy S3, fans could expect the Jelly Bean treat to arrive sometime in Q3 this year. It seems that the device is presently undergoing some testing for its firmware. The first public rollout of the latest Google mobile OS is apparently within view.

Considering that the Galaxy S2 received its ICS upgrade just some time back, it seems too early to expect Jelly Bean. However, the smartphone should be upgraded now as it’s apparently high on sales, says Ubergizmo. The website which dug up the news via SamMobile claims that the Galaxy Note and the Note 2 are in the race too.

Coming to the Jelly Bean platform, it brings with it a range of interface improvements and attributes. The well known Google Now feature that displays weather conditions and other data at relevant times will undoubtedly be seen. Besides, improved Voice Search and a more intuitive virtual keypad are part of the show.

An added advantage would be that calls or mails can be answered directly via notifications on the handset running this OS. Till date, the Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus S and a few other devices have been lucky enough to get a taste of this version of Android.

For now, we can just wait for the company to announce the Samsung Galaxy S3, S2, Note 2 and Note Jelly Bean updates.
