The HTC One X Android 4.0.4 update is now available for both, the global and 4G LTE variants. And in addition to bumping up the OS to its latest build, this new firmware will upgrade existing features like the camera and Beats Audio technology.

Based on what the company states, the improved Sense experience will allow users to customize the recent app key by mapping it with a menu function. This should also enhance the visual presentation for non ICS applications. The changes carried out aim at augmenting the browsing experiencing by introducing a dedicated tab switching button. Users will be able to take advantage of features such as white balance and continuous AF in the 8MP rear-facing camera.

Additionally, this software update is said to bring in memory enhancements, improved OS stability and one-touch access to Facebook from various applications, through the Single Sign-On feature. The manufacturer is extending the SDK support for Media Link and also introducing a framework to enhance the quality and performance of video call applications.
