Samsung and Yahoo! team up to offer Yahoo! services on Samsung phones

The distinct partnership between Yahoo and Samsung has now been expanded. With this collaboration, Samsung would distribute services from Yahoo! on several handsets from Samsung counting those running on the Samsung bada as well as Android platforms.

Well, the services are Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Front Page, Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Flickr, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Contacts, Yahoo! Calendar, and Yahoo! Weather. This exclusive affiliation can provide numerous more Samsung device owners effortless access to Yahoo!’s major services.

Samsung mobile devices may come pre-installed with one or more Yahoo! Services. With Yahoo! Mail, users can read, reply and send mail. They can sort out messages by customizable groups. Yahoo! Messenger can facilitate people to message their friends in real time. With Yahoo! Contacts and Calendar, users can look up and/or include new contact information and can also update their calendar.

Yahoo! Mobile Front Page can bring together users’ preferred content and services from anywhere across the Internet to a single place. With Yahoo! News, users can receive world news on their phone. Yahoo! Finance enables users to be up-to-date with the current scenario of the financial world. With Yahoo! Weather, users can look out weather forecasts. Yahoo! Flicker gives people the access to mail and share pictures. And last but not the least Yahoo! Search facilitates users to search for whatever information they want.

These services are geared up to arrive on Samsung phones globally, most probably from May 2010.
