Northeast Bank unveils banking application for iPhone

Northeast Bank iPhone App Northeast Bank has made banking easier by launching a mobile banking application for its consumers. The app is designed for the iPhone and facilitates consumers to access their accounts, transfer funds and more.

Searching branches or ATMs is now hassle-free and users can find it by means of their web-enabled mobile phones. The bank offers online banking system which provides comprehensive services to its personal banking customers.

“The research I’m seeing indicates that over 35% of households will be using mobile banking in some fashion by 2010. Our goal is to stay ahead of this trend and make sure we have the tools our customers need to do their banking on the go. Northeast has always been innovative, and we’re proud to be one of the first community banks in Maine with an iPhone app,” stated Chris Delamater, Vice President and Marketing Director at Northeast Bank.

To avail the mobile banking service consumers need to sign up with Northeast Online. After that, consumers can access the mobile banking application as a free service. Keeping a tab on their balances is also simplified with this application, which permits them to sign up for alerts.

The mobile banking application sends a text message automatically to consumers when their balance goes below a specified amount or when their paycheck is deposited. To guarantee safe and secure transactions, multiple layers of authentication are employed.
