Motorola Electrify to strike soon through U.S. Cellular

Motorola Electrify U.S. CellularThe Motorola Electrify soon to be seen on U.S. Cellular is complete with some interesting features. Just like, Motorola’s Photon 4G, Electrify sports a 4.3 qHD display, with a front-facing camera for video chats, while its rear panel features an 8MP camera, making both handsets look quite similar. It also wraps-in a 16GB card expandable up to 48GB with a 32GB memory card purchase.

Further establishing its alikeness to recent Motorola smartphones, Electrify incorporates the Webtop application that allows multi-tasking and expands it power to include a larger screen and full keyboard. This handset can be connected to a Motorola HD Station and then onto an HD monitor to beam a full Firefox 4.0 browser, while simultaneously performing other functions.

“The Electrify is more than a ‘smart’ phone,” states Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for U.S. Cellular. “Its multi-tasking capabilities make it the perfect personal assistant for customers who depend on their smartphone to meet the ever-changing needs of their busy lifestyles. Our commitment to providing a variety of devices that enhance customers’ lives is one of the reasons consumers who switch to U.S. Cellular join the happiest customers in wireless.”

Electrify also incorporates a full Mirror Mode, meaning the user can connect it to any large HD screen (via HDMI cable) to play Android games and view movies, with a bunch of people. Unlike its equivalents, this smartphone is packed in with a kickstand that allows for hands-free viewing of movies, videos and TV shows.

The Motorola Electrify will be available for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate along with purchase of a data plan.
