Claiming to blur ‘the line between work and play,’ the all new Micromax Funbook Pro is now shipping via Snapdeal. This tablet puts forth an ICS-powered show for less than Rs. 10,000.
As far as the specifications go, the gadget is equipped with a 10.1-inch capacitive screen rendering a 1024 × 600p resolution for visuals. A Cortex A8 processor ticks at 1.2GHz beneath its chassis to fuel all the functions. It works in tandem with a dual Mali 400 GPU to deliver 2D and 3D multimedia content.
On the connectivity front, the Micromax device offers 3G network support via a USB dongle. It entails a slot for HDMI to stream 1080p content on large screens. Carrying 1GB RAM, the tab houses 8GB of memory that can be extended via a slot for a 32GB microSD card. It offers Wi-Fi access for web browsing while on the move. An encapsulated 5600mAh battery juices up the device.
The manufacturer has thrown in a 0.3MP VGA snapper for video conferencing over the web. Playing successor to the Funbook, the tab is shipping dressed in the color slate grey. In terms of software, it provides study material and interactive video lessons to stick to its agenda of ‘edutainment.’ It supports various formats covering DOC, PPT and XLS amongst others to save and edit documents.
The Micromax Funbook Pro price in India is marked at Rs. 9,999. Snapdeal is also offering a Tata Docomo+ data card for free along with the tablet.
