Best Buy Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch offers free Samsung Blu-ray player

For holiday season shoppers, Best Buy has declared the free availability of the Samsung BD-D5100 Blu-ray player along with the purchase of the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch handset. The offer commenced yesterday and is on till November 19.

The Sprint Epic 4G Touch operates on Android 2.3 and is incorporated with 16GB internal memory. Offering 4G speed for a faster web browsing experience, it is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1.2GHz dual-core processor. This smartphone comes equipped with a 2MP front and an 8MP rear facing camera with which users can record videos in 1080p.

Integrated with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital TrueHD decoders, the Samsung BD-D5100 Blu-ray player features the HDMI interface that provides HDTV-compliant resolutions. Users who avail of this offer can employ the Epic 4G Touch smartphone as a remote for this Blu-ray player. The device gives them access to videos from Best Buy CinemaNow, Netflix and YouTube. It comes with the AllShare feature that enables sending of photos and videos from the Epic 4G Touch to the TV via the Blu-ray player over the home network, wirelessly.

The Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch can now be bought via Best Buy Mobile for a price of $199.99 with 2-year activation. This offer is on till November 19 and the smartphone will be accompanied by the free Samsung BD-D5100 Blu-ray player that will start shipping from December 5.
