Bazaart, an ex-pinterest app re-launched on iTunes, creates photo collages

Bazaart, a Tel Aviv-based application that was previously meant to create fashion spreads for Pinterest, has been introduced once again in iTunes as a design app. It is said to use a rather complex algorithm to help you remove the backgrounds from pictures and can even be employed for the purpose of creating collages.

You can choose to manually remove the background and it is also possible to get it done by the application automatically. The utility lets you view the work of other creators and get inspired to make beautiful images. It allows you to import images taken by your phone’s camera or you get the option of taking pictures from social networking and photo-sharing websites like Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Etsy or Flickr.

Taking professional images from photography, fashion or home decor sources is possible or you can directly bring photos to the app via web search. Apart from the editing features we have mentioned above, you can copy, flip, scale, rotate or position them according to your preferences.

For those who like to write quotes on pictures will be glad to know that you can add text to them and even change the opacity of both the picture as well as the text. Moreover, not only can you view other people’s work, but also connect with them by liking or commenting on their work and following them to get updates. Once you are done editing, save the images to your camera roll and share them via services like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and more.

It was the guys over at Mashable who spotted the Bazaart app which is available for free via iTunes.
