ViewSonic ViewPad 7e Tablet

A new addition to ViewSonics’s ViewPad series is the freshly announced ViewPad 7e tablet. Operating on Android Gingerbread, the device comes equipped with the company’s very own ViewScene 3D interface which is claimed to deliver incredibly clear and immersive media content with holographic visual effects. With this interface, users can customize their favorite apps in a quick manner.

Powered by a 1GHz ARM A8 processor, the tablet comes with a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen featuring a contrast ratio of 500:1. This 800 x 600p resolution multi touchscreen is incorporated with RiteTouch technology that allows for user input with a stylus as well as touch input. It is capable of supporting Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options. The latest ViewSonic tablet possesses a 3MP rear snapper and a 0.3MP front facing camera.

The tablet comes preloaded with Amazon Services and Amazon Kindle applications, which should also make it an optimal e-reading device. Other pre-installed apps include Twitter, TuneIn Radio and WildTangent games which is a service that enables smooth browsing, downloading and purchasing of online social games. Integrated with support for Adobe Flash 10.3, the ViewPad 7e provides 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through the microSD card slot.
