Samsung and T-Mobile in alliance have launched a new phone in the Netherlands. According to UnwiredView, the new offering is an eco-friendly phone called the Samsung S3030 Eco.
As an exclusive feature, the phone is made from nature-friendly material. It uses bio-plastic and is liberated from the BFR (brominated flame retardants) and PVC. The charger is also nature-friendly and its casing is made from absolute recyclable materials. It comprises of a MP3 player, FM radio and photo camera. The camera is supposedly 1.3MP and the handset offers up to 8 GB MicroSD card support.
This new phone is a remake of the S3030 Tobi slider targeted for kids and launched by Sammy in November, 2008.
The Samsung S3030 Eco is currently acquirable for a price of €89.95 on pre-pay. No information about its availability in other countries is known yet.
