Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 joins the carrier’s 4G LTE gang

The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will soon make its way into the US after being unveiled back in February. And along with this device, the carrier will also introduce two new smartphones into its 4G LTE lineup, namely the LG Mach and Optimus G.

Speaking about the specifications of the slate in question, it touts a 10.1-inch WXGA PLS TFT touch panel that delivers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Built around dimensions of 256.7mm x 175.3mm x 9.7mm, it weighs just about 581 grams. Infused with a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and running on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, the slab offers 1GB of RAM and options of 16GB or 32GB of internal memory for storing content.

If these aren’t enough, the overall hoarding capacity can be further stretched up to 32GB using the built-in microSD card slot. In addition to 3G connectivity, the Galaxy tablet renders support to the carrier’s 4G LTE service that should provide a quick web browsing experience. It comes with a host of applications from the company including S Suggest, AllShare Play as well as ChatOn that allows customers to stay connected with friends and family.

The price and release date details for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 are still under wraps. Prior to this, the device also made its debut in the UK via retailers like Clove.
