The OnePlus 11R is all set to be released as a successor to the 10R and thanks to a new leak, its specifications are out as well. However, since the 10R was launched in April this year, so don’t expect its successor to arrive anytime soon.
This new leak comes via the OnLeaks Twitter account, which has collaborated with MySmartPrice to reveal the specs of the OnePlus 11R. They include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen. There’s no change in this department since the 10R too carries the same display.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will be handling things internally instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max. By the time this phone will arrive, the Gen 1 processor from Qualcomm will probably have been replaced by the Gen 2 model.
According to the leak, the OnePlus 11R will ship with 8GB or 16GB worth of RAM and will have 128GB and 256GB storage options. As for the camera setup, it may include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, just like the predecessor.
The OnePlus 10R was released in two battery options – one with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging and the other with a 4,500mAh battery and 150W fast charging. It seems the new phone will only opt for a 5,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
So the big change is only in the chipset department. The flagship Qualcomm SoC can currently be found inside the OnePlus 10T, which is the latest smartphone offering from the company. The other flagships from the OnePlus 10 range grab the non-plus model of the chip.
As we said, there’s no word on when the OnePlus 11R will be made available for purchase so at this moment all we can do is speculate.
