Nokia E63 Nokia unveils the latest QWERTY messaging phone, the Nokia E63, designed for people who need to balance their business and personal lives.

The Nokia E63 will roll out in the US in the coming weeks.

Alessandro Lamanna, Vice President of Sales, Retail, Nokia Americas says, “Consumers have stated loud and clear that there is a demand for devices with a QWERTY form factor that are optimized for the United States, building on the success of the award winning Nokia E71, Nokia E63 brings a fully featured QWERTY smartphone to an entry level price point.”

Nokia E63 smartphone offers both personal and business life usage. The device has the ability to switch modes with a single key press, that will let the user switch from a view of corporate mail to appointments and intranet data. One can also shift to a personal mode to view personal e-mail or picture of friends and set shortcuts to favorite blogs or websites.

Users can subscribe files on Ovi service that will let them access their PC files even if the PC appears to be offline. Anyone buying the Nokia E63 handset will have access to 1GB of online file storage for free. The mobile phone sports Bluetooth connectivity as well as a 2-megapixel camera. The smartphone also features a digital music player, video player and comes pre loaded with games.

The Nokia E63 supports 3G network and runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition operating system. It offers numerous services and applications that makes the device more of a compact computer than a smartphone. The Nokia E63 comes in two colors, ruby red and ultramarine blue and is available at Nokia stores in New York and Chicago and U.S. customers can purchase the device via retailers and e-tailers. It carries a price tag of USD 279.
