Lenova is preparing to bring to light the Lenova O1e shortly. This model is a new version of the O1 and is supposed to be lesser in price as well as size in comparison to its earlier model. O1 was expected to hit the markets in August this year but hasn’t shipped till now, according to Engadget
Reportedly, it will have plastic bits instead of metal ones. Besides, it will swap boastful 5 megapixels for 3 megapixel camera. On the positive side, the device will sport the same 8GB of internal storage and hopefully work on the Android platform.
The OPhone O1 is power driven by the Android-based operating system called the Open Mobile System. It will incorporate a unique set of hardware and will come out in two models at the same time. The first one, the 3G model will be packed with a 5 megapixel camera while the second one, the Edge model will comprise of a 3.2 megapixel camera.
However the carrier on which the new phone will work is not revealed yet. Other specifications and features are also not known. Details regarding pricing and availability are also not known.
