Innpu develops world’s first wired cell phone

Innpu wired phonePick an average mobile enthusiast and their haversack will sure pop more than a handful of wireless devices. While most seem to be ditching cables and wires for something that’s clutter-free, Innpu Communication Technology appears to be thinking otherwise. The company suggests to have developed ‘successfully’ what it claims to be the world’s first wired cell phone.

With a desire to completely refine the way cell phones are accessed, the company appears to keep prevention of mobile phone radiation along with new technologies among its checklist. Speaking specifically of the mobile phone, it comes complete with built-in retractable headphones. Users are candidly required to pull out the integrated headphone line when receiving a phone call. On call completion, the headset and headphones retract automatically. This according to the company should lower the risk of cell phone radiation to the head while also keeping both hands free.

Though the incorporated retractable headphone module looks simple, Innpu reveals it to be quite technical. It includes superior polymer materials and new composite materials that seem to have crossed the traditional headphone winding capability. Winding has been enabled up to ten thousand times during the phone’s service life while module size constraints have also been worked upon. This should affect attributes like the usability and speed.

Whether mobile phone radiation is harmful or not to human health is still a bone of contention, billions of dollars are known to be wasted in resources that may keep its exposure to a minimum. With this innovation, mobile phone users’ can keep from mobile phone radiation away and conserve resources. Additionally, audio and video applications with headsets should also be more convenient as compared to Bluetooth headsets.

Innpu has already gained proprietary intellectual property protection for this distinct technology in the European Union, China, the U.S., Japan and many other countries and regions. The company also plans to augment this technology to the iPad, notebook computers and other small mobile network terminals like MP4, MP5 and other music video terminals. The implementation of this technology into the aforementioned devices we must say would be interesting to see.

As for the wired phone, it is slated to hit markets soon. Its pricing details are not known.
