Huawei’s Ascend P6 was supposed to come to India back in August, but it failed to show up and now we hear that it is coming soon. The company has updated the product page on the country-specific website and a select few online retailers have also listed it.
So what can you expect from this extremely slick Huawei device? For starters, there’s Android Jelly Bean 4.2 platform which is garnished with the proprietary Emotion UI 1.6 OS. They are basically responsible for ensuring smooth transitions through the gadget and offering an intuitive user interface that’s easy to navigate.
It is one of the thinnest phones and has been encased in a stylish form factor that measures 132.65 mm x 65.5 mm x 6.18 mm and weighs 120 grams. And in spite of that the device manages to support a 4.7-inch in-cell capacitive display of 1280 x 720p resolution. Apart from the standard black and white, it can be purchased in the pink shade as well.
The smartphone’s 8MP rear-facing camera is capable of recording visuals in 1080p videos, while a front-mounted 5MP camera shoots 720p movies. And do we need to mention that you can use it for making conference calls? Additionally, a quad core K3V2 processor ticking at 1.5GHz has been tossed into the mix with 2GB of RAM and 8GB onboard memory.
Its internal storage is expandable by up to 32GB using a microSD card. A 2000mAh battery hides under the hood and offers 3G talk time of around 12 hours on a single charge. The phone’s standby time is said to be of around 393 hours.
The Huawei Ascend P6 could be priced at around Rs 25,750. It can seen on shopping portals like Infibeam, Saholic and Flipkart amongst others.
