iPhone users can now experience advanced FM features with the latest FM transmitter that is introduced by Griffin Technology dubbed iTrip. The company has also launched an iPhone app that works in sync with the transmitter, known as the iTrip controller app.
To connect the iTrip device, iPhone users require the OS 3.0. This app enables users to access the best frequency available via the SmartScan button. Three preset options are available and they are also programmable. The settings option permits users to adjust SmartSound EQ and mono/stereo broadcast modes.
“iTrip has defined the iPod accessory industry since its release seven years ago. Now with app integration, iTrip represents the latest FM transmitter technologies and best user interface available anywhere,” mentioned Paul Griffin, creator of iTrip, founder and CEO of Griffin Technology Inc.
The FM transmitter displays track and artist information on RDS-compatible radios. The iTrip device and the iTrip Controller app are attuned with each other, thus offering premium FM experience on the iPhone. Further, iTrip is compatible with iPod Classic, iPod Nano 4th generation and iPod Nano 3rd generation.
iTrip can be purchased from Griffin Technology’s official website for $49.99. However, the iTrip controller app can be downloaded from the iTunes app store for free.
