There’s no denying that searching for content over the web via a mobile phone has gotten simpler, but it does come with some glitches. The recent Google search update for Blackberry 6 users however intends making the process effortless at least for RIM devices. The new update, the official Google Mobile blog shares brings in a richer web experience with other enhanced features.

New attributes like auto complete and search history will appear below the search box providing quicker results. The enhanced Google search page provides websites, images, videos, news, and more based on the keywords entered.

The arrow button located on the screen’s upper left side will provide more refined options. In addition to that, touch users can browse through images by a simple swipe across the screen. Images can be viewed by selecting the appropriate tab. Improved local search should help users find restaurants, shops and various popular business categories located under the ‘Places’ tab.

The update is available on most RIM OS 6+ devices such as the BlackBerry Torch and BlackBerry Bold 9780 with WebKit browsers. What’s more it’s delivered in twenty languages across seventy countries.
