The Japan availability of the new Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F smartphone has been announced. This handset boasts of a 4-inch 480 × 800p AMOLED WVGA display crafted from Corning Gorilla glass which features a scratch-resistant ‘Ultra Toughguard’ coating.

With a thickness of just 6.7mm, the Fujitsu mobile device comes dressed in two colors namely, ruby red and gloss black. Owners can depend on almost 400 minutes of talk time or up to 330 hours of standby time. Measuring 64mm × 127mm × 6.7mm, this smartphone arrives embedded with a 5.11MP rear facing primary camera possessing a CMOS sensor.

Powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon mobile processor, the ES IS12F features the DiXiM Home Network application to facilitate connection with DLNA-compliant Blu-ray disk recorders and view streams of recorded terrestrial digital broadcast programs. Capable of lending support to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options, it is pre-installed with a full-featured multimedia dictionary that is compatible with audio as well as video files.

The 105g light handset offers users a variety of functions such as one-segment broadcasts, infrared communications, mobile wallet (Osaifu Keitai) and IPX5/8 water-resistant technology. Made from hybrid stainless metal, it simplifies the process of entering text as they are allowed to type via hand-written input by physically jotting on top of the software keyboard that comprises of both QWERTY and numeric keypads.

The Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F smartphone is now available in Japan through KDDI Corporation and the Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company.
