Emblaze Mobile Ltd, the technology design house for future mobile devices seems to have surfaced back again. The Israel-based company is gearing up to introduce a new and impressive handset, the Edelweiss. Yes it’s actually been named after the mountain flower representing purity.
The phone will apparently be a tough competition to the likes of the iPhone and the Samsung Omnia. In fact the most attractive feature of the phone is supposed to be a 3.5” TFT touch screen display that should sport a 480×854 resolution. That’s right; if true the resolution will be much bigger than those of the HTC Touch HD and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. So even if you are not a gadget freak, we think you’ll love the high resolution display.
As of now, the rumoured features include GSM and 3G connectivity, internal GPS and a built-in memory of 8GB/16GB. But we are expecting this revolutionary phone to come bundled with much more considering it is coming from Emblaze Mobile, known for bringing a radical change in mobile communication. Well we also hear the company’s working on a Linux-based device Monolith promising to release sometime in the first half of next year.
The Emblaze Mobile Edelweiss handset is rumoured to first see the light of day in Russia starting October, 2008.
