This app is claimed to be the first Disney portal for the iPhone and lets users enhancing gain innovative themes and virtual pins. Users can brush their gaming skills with the Toy Story 3: The Video Game available in this app itself. The app will be updated throughout the year with new features.
Stephen Saiz, director of marketing, Disney Interactive Studios, stated, “The success of the “Toy Story” franchise and its massive following really lent itself to creating an experience on the iPhone that extends well beyond just a single game tied to the movie release,” and added, “We want fans to have the opportunity to experience the beloved Toy Story characters through games, sounds and personalization timed with the movie launch and beyond.”
Users can ride through the Wild West as Woody with his trusty horse Bullseye. They need to collect items from the lasso by avoiding the obstacles that come in their way and win achievements through the Woody’s Wild Ride. This feature is available at a price of $3.99. Woody’s Greetings feature allows them to send messages to their favorite cowboy or cowgirl from the pal Woody. This free app enables them to create their own custom greeting by choosing from a list of names, occasions, hobbies, etc.
Gamers can find the hidden objects from Andy’s room, Bonnie’s room and Sunnyside Daycare with Operation Camouflage at a price of $2.99. Classic phrases and toy sound effects can be heard from Andy’s room by Buzz and Woody. This feature is called as Sound Around and is available at a price of $.99.
Toy Story 3 app is available for free on the company’s official website. The updated Toy Story Mania! app which features a new pin collection is available at a price of $4.99 in iTunes. This app is inspired by the Toy Story Mania! Attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts enabling users to enjoy the fun carnival games by testing their skills.
