Apple has released the iOS 5.0.1 software update for devices running the iOS 5. The company has fixed certain bugs which were adversely affecting their devices’ battery lives. The software update can optimally function on both versions of the iPad, the iPhone 4 and its 4S and 3GS variants as well as the third and fourth generation iPod touch devices.
This update should come as a relief for users of the mentioned devices as there were many complaints regarding the reduced battery life owing to some unresolved bugs. Version 5.0.1 will enhance the original iPad with various multitasking gestures. It has also fixed certain bugs with Documents stored in iCloud.
