We knew that ZTE was going to bring its Nubia brand into India soon, but we have now been given confirmation from the Chinese company that this will happen on May 18. Invites for an event scheduled to take place in New Delhi on the said date have been sent out to the press, while it has also been made apparent that the devices from this range will be sold exclusively through Amazon.
What’s not clear however, is the exact device or devices that will be unveiled for sale in the country on May 19. While some are speculating that the Nubia Z9 Mini will be showcased at the event, some believe that the Z9 and the Z9 Max will also be revealed.
Whatever handset is first released by the company, what’s very important is the kind of price tag it will carry. The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini sounds to us like a great device to make an entry into the Indian market with. It grabs a 5-inch 1080p full HD display and runs on an octa core Snapdragon 615 processor.
