Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has launched its Axon 7 Mini variant at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The handset is a new addition to the brand’s flagship series. It will be made available in India soon.
ZTE has incorporated a dedicated audio processor made in collaboration with Japanese sound specialists Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) in the Axon 7 Mini. The company asserts that this chip offers unmatched Hi-Fi sound performance and the highest quality audio experience in smartphones.
The Axon 7 Mini has dual front-facing stereo speakers that work in combination with Dolby Atmos sound. This arrangement can give a movie theater-like surround sound effect to listeners, as claimed by ZTE.
The Axon 7 Mini has a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display in full HD resolution. The 4G-enabled dual SIM phone is host to an 8MP front snapper. The device features a 16MP main camera and a fingerprint sensor on its rear.

A Snapdragon 617 processor accompanied by 3GB RAM powers the Axon 7 Mini which runs on Android Marshmallow. Internal memory of the device is of 32GB. Its 2705mAh battery claims to last for an entire day’s usage and is supplemented with Qualcomm Quick Charge technology that can juice the phone from zero to 50 percent in almost 30 minutes.
