The new ZocDoc app recently made its debut for users of the Android platform. Via this app users can search for local doctors and book appointments immediately from their handsets.
It allows users to take a look at doctors’ calendars in real time and make an appointment even while on the move. They are enabled to find doctors according to specialty, insurance plan and current location through the Android geo-location technology. By virtue of this app, users can view details of various doctors like their credentials, photos, descriptions and verified reviews written by patients.

The ZocDoc App can be downloaded for free from the Android Market and is also available online at zocdoc.com/mobile-apps.
