The Punjabi music channel 9X Tashan can now be accessed on several mobile platforms across the globe through Zenga TV. This is presented to consumers as a result of a strategic collaboration between the two companies.
The TV channel on mobile phones will be available as a free service. This will be accessible to all users with mobile phone handsets which are GPRS, 3G, or Wi-Fi enabled. With an active connection, users will have seamless access to Tashan round the clock.
“9X Tashan have received an overwhelming response from viewers in a short span since the Channel’s launch on 31st August 2011. We strongly believe that, Mobile TV is an innovative way to leverage technology and create additional touch points with our current and prospective viewers. Our partnership with Zenga TV will take 9X Tashan to all the Punjabi Music aficionados across the globe,” believed Vibha Gosher, Vice President Digital, 9X Media Group.
This service is available for almost all mobile network service providers including Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, MTNL, etc. 9X Tashan was launched in India on August 31 and its mobile phone availability follows soon after. As of today, Zenga offers non-buffering free access to a host of channels originating in India like Colors, Aaj Tak, MTV, etc. for reality shows and movies, it offers paid services.
Consumers can access 9X Tashan on their mobile phones through tv.zengatv.com. Also, a service launcher from the WAP portal can be downloaded.
