Zen Mobile has announced the Admire Star, a new Android Marshmallow-based budget smartphone for secondary and tertiary markets in India. The phone is host to very basic features accompanied by a comparatively low price to attract potential buyers.
The Admire Star’s SOS feature can be used to send your location to 5 pre-listed emergency contacts. The Zen Care App in the device gives you access to the company’s service centers in India. The dual SIM phone only supports 3G connectivity.
The Admire Star has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and a 1.3MP front camera. The rear shooter is of 5MP resolution and both the lenses on the device have the panorama feature. A 1.3GHz processor working in tandem with 512MB RAM power the handset.
The Android Marshmallow-based device is supplemented with 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB. A 2000mAh powerhouse juices the Admire Star. Connectivity options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are present in the phone. The device also comes with a host of pre-loaded apps such as Zen AppCloud, NexGenTV, Vuliv, Saavn and UC Mini browser.

Besides the aforementioned apps, the Admire Star also boasts of features like auto call record, flip to mute and contact blacklist. It has media options like music player, video player and FM radio for entertainment.
