YuFit fitness band and HealthYu health tracker launched alongside Yuphoria smartphone

Affordable fitness gadgets are fast becoming a new craze in India, with the YuFit fitness band and the HealthYu health tracker being the latest products of this fad. These devices were unveiled by Micromax’s Yu Televentures along with its new metal-clad Yuphoria smartphone.

The extremely cheap YuFit fitness band costs just Rs 999. It’s clear from its price tag that the device wants to give some serious competition to the Xiaomi Mi Band which is sold at the same retail value.

YuFit

YuFit’s design and functionality is identical to that of the above mentioned device. However, it goes one up and offers a proper OLED touchscreen display that cannot be spotted on the Xiaomi gadget. On it, you can read notifications and time.

It’s powered by the HealthifyMe app, making it capable of tracking your diet, weight trends, calorie count and more. Being the owner of the YuFit also gives you access to dieticians and fitness trainers, whom you can chat with or call as well.
