Micromax’s Yu Yureka registrations stopped early due to overwhelming response

If you’ve not registered for Micromax’s Yu Yureka sale with the idea that you still have one more day to do so, you’re in for some major disappointment since the doors have been shut by the manufacturer. You can no longer register to buy the smartphone during the sale that will be held on January 13 on Amazon.

Registrations for the Micromax Yu Yureka were supposed to stay open until December 25, but they were taken offline today citing ‘overwhelming response.’ The company however hasn’t mentioned how many people have lodged their interest in purchasing the handset once it’s out for the first time.

Yu Yureka

Yu, a brand owned by none other than Micromax, has gone for the flash sale model identical to that of Xiaomi for selling it in India. Except, instead of Flipkart, Amazon has been chosen to be the retail partner for this phone. While January 13 will see the first flash sale of the handset, there’s no word on when the second one will go online.
