Xolo Win Q900s Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone launching in July for Rs 11999

We don’t know about prettier, but the newly launched Xolo Win Q900s Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone which is priced at Rs 11999 in India officially, claims to be thinner and lighter than the iPhone 5S. That’s right, this first ever WP8.1 handset from Xolo tips the scales at just 100 grams, to make it 12 grams lighter than the Apple smartphone and it’s even slimmer by 0.4 millimeters.

The Xolo Win Q900s is not unpleasant to look at considering its dimensions, though we’re always hoping that someone would introduce a device with a radical new design. The sleekness of the Xolo phone makes it seem well worth its Rs 9999 rate and it’s got some decent internals, starting with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, to match its facade.

Xolo Win Q900s

The Xolo Win Q900s WP8.1 faces tough competition from the Canvas Win W121 launched by Micromax earlier this month, considering the difference in their price tags and brand recognition. We know we’d be tempted to pick the Xolo handset because of how slick it looks, but a lot of buyers will rise above all this shallowness, we think.
