Xolo has shifted into teasing gear, riddling its social media channels with messages regarding something with an Omega in its name. The guess right now is that it refers to the launch of a new line of phones or smartwatches from the company.
And you won’t have to wait for long in order to find out what it actually is, for the unveiling has been slated by Xolo to take place on December 5. #TouchOmega is the hashtag that the company is trying to trend on Twitter right now, and the only reference material regarding the release is the image that you’re seeing in the space right below.
It seems to be showing the outline of a smartphone, but no hard clues are being given away by it; that’s for sure. Anyway, the unveiling will take not at an event but on Twitter itself, so you should make sure to follow the @MyXolo handle if you’re eagerly waiting to know what Xolo has in store with the Omega teaser.
The announcement will take place on the micro-blogging site between 12pm to 1pm IST on Friday, December 5. The last time Xolo went ahead and did something different was when it introduced its own Android interface named Hive UI.

Although it was expected to be made available on subsequent devices from the manufacturer, it has only been granted to the 8X-1000 until now. This handset carries onboard a 5-inch HD display, runs on a 1.4GHz octa core processor and offers an 8MP rear camera at around Rs 12000.
Like we said, the unveiling of the Xolo Omega series is to take place on Twitter on December 5. We’ll have more on the issue as soon as additional details are out.
UPDATE: As one of our readers (Varun) has pointed out, the mysterious Omega could actually be a smartwatch judging by the silhouette displayed in the teaser.
