Xolo Q700S officially launched in India for Rs 9999

The Xolo Q700S which plays successor to the likes of the Q700 and Q700i smartphones has been launched in India for users interested in a mid-range device that refrains from burning a hole in your wallet. This Android-powered, quad core handset will set you back by Rs 9,999 and it is slated to be made available in shades of silver and gold.

The entry-level Xolo gadget has been loaded with most of the essential features and it seems capable of competing with all the quad core smartphones currently available in the market. A 4.5-inch touchscreen featuring a wide viewing angle is accompanied by dual cameras, an 8MP primary snapper and a front-mounted VGA webcam.

At the heart of the dual SIM smartphone is the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS which ensures access to the Google Play store for downloading games and apps. The handset that appears to have a metallic chassis, claims to offer 3G browsing time of about 5 hours on a single charge, thanks to a 1800mAh battery.

The Xolo Q700S has officially been priced at Rs 9,999, but it is available via select online retailers for a discounted amount of Rs 9,499.
